What the hey...

Has the Occupy movement come to Queen Creek?

At every intersection where the streets and railroads meet are groups of people occupying the tracks. The children are running, playing, sitting and in some cases laying down on them. Others are SHOOTING the children that are playing on the tracks with cameras! (Got you! Admit it at first you were horrified!)

Turns out it was this:
Union Pacific Steam Engine #844
People were just standing around looking and waiting for it.  Click here for more info on the train.

In other news...

Turns out that the zombie costume I got from my mom's Halloween stash was perfect. (Sorry no picture)  I had not dressed up for Halloween in years. That's right I dressed up and went trick or treating with my kids. I got almost as many compliments on my costume as Sadie did (our collie, and yes she was in costume too, she went out as Lassie) The first time I donned the scary costume L recognized it as me because he saw me put the mask on. As soon as it was on he said, "Scary, rrroarr!!!" Eventually he started to scare himself and didn't want me to wear the costume anymore. Naturally I was uncertain if I would be able to wear the costume for Halloween a few months later, lucky for me he had no problems with it.

Now in response to all the thousands of emails I received regarding the month long silence on this blog.  I ask you all to reread the heading at the top of the page it clearly says I will forget I have a blog. ;-p
